If I have "2008-present" under employer/agency dates, and then I have "2008-2009" or "Sep 08-Nov 09" under the work at the place I was doing - is that going to look fishy? "Hmm, why isn't she working NOW?" I mean, do places just assume that with temp work being...well...temporary, that it's not a big deal if there is some time in between assignments?
