And football games used to get pre-empted by Heidi. Current TV contracts don't allow that. Just because there was TV doesn't mean it was the same

FF is a factor in promoting the NFL, I've never questioned this. But simply look at the two things, and remove one or the other. TV coverage takes a minimal hit if FF ceased to exist. If TV coverage ceased to exist? FF would be annihilated.
