ha, that's so funny. I drove it to the HBG airport twice this month, so it's not even creaky. it *does* need its 30k service but I have been diligent

about oil changes et cetera since I stopped driving it.
my friends here are really amazing. well, maybe I am too, I guess. I say to patryk, who has no car, "you can keep my car for the week and use it to go grocery shopping or whatever if you take it for an oil change. here's a credit card."
so both of my cars get driven, however minimally, and are probably better maintained than if I were here doing the maintaining myself.
I am so, so thankful for my friends (mss jones typed from patryk's couch, where she slept last night).
