I've mostly ignored the brouhaha over this whole thing because he obviously did it all to get the brouhaha/publicity, and I hate to feed that.

The kiss was a kiss and if anyone is blurring that, they are dumb.
The simulated oral sex was ridiculous and out of line for the audience/timeframe/channel. But Lambert knew that.
