Our dog has become incontinent and has ruined an area rug, carpet in one of the bedrooms, and flooring in the dining room over the last two months.

I can't take this anymore and am considering having her put to sleep today. We saved her from destruction at the pound 4 years ago. She had arthritis so bad that she could hardly walk and she yelped when you touched her. We put her on glucosamine, an expensive diet, and lots of exercise. She got to the point where she was running at the park. But she has slowed down again and is becoming sensitive in her hindquarters. Now with the incontinence, I just want her to "go" with dignity and having led a decent life in her last 4 years.
