as a professional atheist, former jew, and hanger-outer with pagans, xmas trees don't have to be religious anymore than holiday songs

I you have your secular songs and then you have your gospel slathered with double helpings of little baby jesus. so a tree with various ornements and decore can be as secular as a large bouquet of roses in the summer. of course my old rabbi would say, ok then why don't you buy one on dec 26th when they are bound to be a whole lot cheaper?
so xmas trees don't bother me, its the whole crech with baby jesus in the manger, and the sound track going all lord and savior.
btw, you can argue that bridal bouquets are pagan ritual symbols, heck the word BRIDE is a direct reference to the goddess Bride aka breed bridget
