Its 30 years since the Jonestown massacre when over 900 members of the People's Temple mission in Guyanna were forced to drink poison laced kool-aide or be shot, after a delegation of newsmen and a congressman visited to check up on some of the bizarre stories leaking out from defectors. Jim Jones was a budding Saddam Hussain/Marque du Sade.
What made those deaths even freakier, they were ham radioing the code word for the folks back in san fran to follow suit, lucky none of the enforcers were listening. However later that week Dan White, a former cop and former supervisor, shot another supe, Harvey Milk and the Mayor and for awhile it was thought to be part of the temple security people tracking down loose ends.
