I have unfriendede one person and declined an invite from one person. Otherwise, I'm pretty open.

I don't need to read the Feed, so it's easy to ignore.
Generally, I treat my Profile as a repository of things I find interesting. If others don't they are free to ignore or defriend.
When I first started it wasn't clear that you could restrict things from posting automatically and everything went out on my feed. Now practically nothing does.
