I started watching the last couple of seasons because my wife likes it, but I think it just tries so hard to come up with the most outrageous things

it can think of, that it just has no soul as a show. I find it funny, but there's nothing there at all. It really has floundered this season though. They just introduce big stories and then abruptly end them. It has no meaning at all.
