He is very good but Richard Dean Anderson's SG1 character was awesome - was almost like self riffing on his MacGyver persona.

I found Browders character of Chriton and his SG1 character ver similar but I like him as a Sci-Fi hero. Him and nathan Fillon throwing down would be awesome.

I still love B5 as one of hte best series ever but the captains in that were always sorta meh - it was hte people around them that made B5 interesting
