this is what I'm saying. If it's emulating the renderer, it could be drawing the polygons more cleanly and then just scaling the textures -- nm

Here's a neogaf thread about Dolphin. The videophiles there seem to think it looks HD and runs great on a PC. -- (link)

This is my understanding of what Dolphin does. It can work for PS2, Gamecube, and XBox games as well. -- nm
