I imagine your IM is mostly for humour. For the most part, women's unemployment marks are similar to men's.

They're just facing being a small province with minimal growth year-to-year and high social spending.
If anything, they're a microcosm of the larger debt concerns facing the country elsewhere. (Manitoba is very similar in terms of piling on debt without consideration for the future.)
