A few episodes ago, White Collar had a scene with the FBI agent and Cafferty in the agent's Ford Taurus.
I know it was a Ford Taurus, because he said Taurus several times in the scene, when the car automatically braked to avoid hitting the car in front of it. At the time, I thought it was "extreme" product placement, especially since they did it multiple times.
However ... holy fuck, Bones blew the concept of product placement out of the water in tonight's episode (I got to see it last night because Canada Rocks). One of the driving plot elements (almost to the point of being a McGuffin) was the opening of Avatar. Three of the characters were taking shifts camping out in line for the movie, they managed to work parts of the trailer into the episode, and it was just permeating the entire episode.
It really helped strengthen my bias against the film, and my hope that it bombs horribly.
