In response to "Jeez Cappie, I hadn't heard about your last job. I'm really sad for you." by Trish

Yeah thanks (story)

Was awesome for 18 months and then my VP resigned. I was the man who brought the change and it worked and everything was humming my dept was the most profitbale support team in the business and customer sat was upt to 95.5% from 83 when I started.

Then my VP stepped down and said you should looke for a job dave oyu arent going to like whats coming leadership wise. Um he was right. I am a do whats right for my staff and customer first - dso needless to say the new bitch on wheel VP and I clashed. Tried to do it her way but I was flagged as the old VPs "boy" and was getting run out of town on rails. She was lining me up with performance plan that was moving and I couldnt hit - so in the end I made move and talked to VP of HR and get an exit package and came to this job at a competitor.

I like this job but there is little direction and I am trying to execute chnage THROUGH people vs doing it myself like I was at the old job - I am adjusting to that but feel unproductive at times as I wait on people to execute and worry sometimes that I am going to be beat on for not producing enough evne though the guy has told me several times that this is a marathon I dont have to do it all at once...so just jumpy I guess
