I got a blue screen error on my personal laptop, something about a corrupt windows file.
If I just re-install the latest service pack, do we think that might clear it up? Or do you think I have to reinstall windows xp from scratch?

Do you have an XP install disk? If so, try doing a repair on the OS. -- nm
