I didn't think you needed to see Casino Royale first. The plots were pretty exclusive (spoilers)

Casino Royale: card game drama
Quantum: guy wants to own water supply
There were some connections between the 2 movies but for the most part, I've forgotten what happened in Casino and got by just fine.
