Conversely, my respect for Mike Meyers dropped considerably when I read how we was an aggravating perfectionist and micromanaged all his movies.
What? I reasonably enjoyed the Austin Powers movies, but come on... I had always assumed they were the result of a lot of semi-casual ad-libbing and writing on-the-fly. Especially with all the recycled jokes and toilet humor. But to take that silly stuff way too seriously is not to be admired.
