we used to have amazing xmas tree burns on the first saturday of January, folks would drive around in trucks and pick them up from the street corners

they were stacked on, bring them down to the beach, build a huge pile and when they lit up, wow it could melt your jacket if you were within a 100 feet
folks seeing it from their homes would call the fire department, many reporting a fire ball.
but yeah, xmas trees compost quite well, they are trees duh
