In response to "Good to know. I hate the dirty snow, I live on the corner of a very busy intersection. It's black an hour after it hits the ground. -- nm" by Krusty

You are going to laugh your ass off. So this is the typical snow event in Portland.

5 days before the Weatherman is saying, Brace yourself for snow. Possible accumulation of 1-3 inches. The city is gearing up for the nasty weather.

The night before the storm every news reporter is stationed all around the city.

Anchor to reporter #1 Anything yet?
Reporter #1 No flakes yet

Anchor to reporter #2 See any snow yet?
Reporter #2 No but it's cold enough to see my breath

Anchor to reporter #3 What's it like where you are?
Reporter #3 I thought I saw a snowflake. We looked around on the ground to find it for the camera, but we can't see it. If we find it we will come back with "Breaking News" until then we cannot confirm or deny that a snowflake fell.

This continues on for about 4 more reporters.

Then the snow hits. 1" accumulation. City Hall shuts down the city. People it's too dangerous please stay home!!!

Of course the news comes up with some title like. Blizzard 2009, The Day the City Shut Down.
