it's the greatest food city in the world. I understand that no seafood + weight issues are a drag, though. I guess I won't kill you...

personally I would consider a month in Tokyo a gift from the gods. (But that's just me) I ate in a ton of different places in the few days I was there. This was my chowhound recap, fwiw:

but seriously, just please at least go to the depachika at Isetan department store. It's the bottom floor of the place--if you can't find things there to eat, you are not human. It's totally worth just checking out, even if you don't get anything.
as far as stuff to do goes, there's mountains of stuff to do there---have you gone to Ueno Park? That place is totally beautiful + has great museums too.
