You may be better off canceling all verbs or forms of the verb 'to be'...

...meaning that an action verb will serve you better. For example:
"When confronted with ...., I produced [solution] and implemented it on time and within the budget allotted.
"As the ......, it was easy for me to call in [resources] and resolved the issue.
YOu will appear confident, capable and humble: a decent combination.
