iirc, my employer will match on both a Traditional or Roth 401(k)

although it's probably a lot trickier to figure out the ideal percentage post-tax contribution for a Roth to get the maximum match, I just haven't had the liquidity to take the tax hit to convert from a Traditional to a Roth.
