sure, but I also hear that 10% is the magic number for retirement savings....

so even if he contributes 8%, he should still find somewhere to dump that 2%....
I used to sock away 10% in my 401K, back when they used to match up to 4%.
Damn that year and a half off where I had to drain it to survive.
