I think I've said it a few times here, but what bugs me is the race for the scariest stats

Every 2-3 weeks, someone comes up with a study that shows the temperature will rise 1 degree higher and in 5 less years, and it's those studies that get all the press.
It really feels like a few scientists are trying to come up with those numbers to get their names out there. And the fact that we don't really know how they get to these statistics makes it very suspicious to me
