I'm realizing now in checking the film that the line of dialogue is "USS Newton Uhura USS Farragut". Since it starts in mid-sentence, an argument could be made for either one, but from the inflection of the dialogue, I think USS Farragut is correct. I'll clean that up.
Unlike ML, you have correctly called shenanigans.
