temperatures will go up, sure. They won't go up evenly around the planet. It's an average. What *will* go up is the outright insanity of weather cycles. Hurricanes, cyclones, ocean death, snow storms, all that stuff will be magnified. Not all the time, of course - some years everything will be fine. And some years, it won't.
