He never really got a fair shot in his prime. Didn't get a full time gig till he was 28, and injuries derailed him after that.

When healthy, I think he's an above average corner OF. His glove is actually very good in RF, and he can play in CF in a pinch. Probably a very good 4th OF or the lefty half of a platoon.
