we're in the 40s already *smack* ahem. I wouldn't say bitter cold, but I empathize against the "we have it colder than you" meanies.

they fail to understand, year after year, that many homes here are not insulated as they are in regularly-cold climes; nor that we of irregular cold facingness do not necessarily have proper clothing to utilize. (not to mention some of us have lost weight from our formerly more blubbery selves, and dang does that ever contribute to chilly.)(er, not that I'd gain it back, please and thank you, and ohmigosh nooo.)
in any case, it was in the freaking teens in some bay area places last night and will be again tonight. that's cold by anyone's standards, except those who choose to live in funny-sounding places like winnepeg and fort st. john and juneau.
so blah. ;) -
