(and remlik's post earlier, too.) I know y'all have lived where it's really cold as a regular thing.

I've experienced as low as negative degrees and such during trips to different places; and, sure, that's cold, too (but I was prepared and so were the buildings I was in).

what I don't get is the one-upping/dismissive thing for anything else. people are weird.

I may have to come after them with my icy fingers. ;p

(about 20 minutes have passed, I think, since I typed this. browser went all frozey, but finally unstuck. no idea where the board is now. whee.)

- It just feels colder for some reason. I go to NCal every year for Christmas and it's down in the 20's, but everyone stays inside with fireplaces and - jnine Dec 8, 20:28
