BAD: my tinnitus has two tones. 8500Hz in the right and 6500Hz in the left. Both of those are in the range of my hearing loss.

so I can't hear things in those ranges anyway.
THe tone in the left ear is covered by my hearing aid so when I wear the aid, the ringing diminishes. the tone in the right ear is beyond the range so it doesn't change.

Yes, the audiologist can do a test where they play tones and you can match it. For loudness,

There are a lot of rings I can't hear. I have to go out of my way to find low pitched ringtones for the phone. It's well known to my friends & family
