Yes, the audiologist can do a test where they play tones and you can match it. For loudness,

it was hard for me to guage it. I think I cranked it up to 50 or 60 decibels, but at a frequency of 8500Hz I have so little hearing that 40 decibels is undetectable.

My estimate is that the ringing is 10-20 decibels, and the right ear is definitely louder.
