they come to the Red Sea which is low....they cross and thank god for that freedom becuase they don't understand the science behind what we now know that allows the Red Sea to be passable on foot.
It's benign word - ignorance of knowledge that becomes easily attributable to the divine power of God, even couched in science as it was.
