I don't really feel bad for him. He earned it. But something that is assuredly very complex is getting oversimplified constantly.

Which, you know, most people shouldn't need to take the time to "understand" what went on, and maybe the oversimplifications are fine, but there is a lot of "if x then y" stuff going on that is mostly taking some big leaps that aren't necessarily true.
