i need help deciding whether or not to spoil a surprise

about a month ago i found out that my wife has been working with my family to fly them in to surprise me for my birthday.

most likely, this is my mom's idea, and all things being equal i'd rather they not bother. be that as it may....

my wife would be disappointed if she knew i found out (though less so b/c it wasn't her idea).

on the other hand, things will be stressful for her, b/c her relationship w/my mom is a little hard on her. she'd have to figure out how to get the house clean etc w/o me finding out about it.

my inclination is to tell her than i know. any reasons this is a bad idea?
