Anyone else read the Flash Forward novel? I just finished it and (spoils)

I'm torn on how I feel about it. It's so different from the TV show that all comparison is futile.
On it's own merits, I found the Lloyd Simcoe character to be just a total mess. At points he's all rationality, then one page later he's all philosophical mumbo-jumbo. Found myself hoping that the character would off himself.
I thought the Theo story arc was much more compelling.
I'm still not sure how I feel about how Sawyer ended the story. It's a bit convoluted...but so is the entire premise of the novel.
That said, it's still tighter woven than the TV show. The show is *so* divergent from the novel, it offers just about no insight into what might happen.
