Because I haven't done any hunting in the Harbour yet and I need to catch the mouse that gives admission to the Mountain still.

I needed to leave temporarily to get some brie anyway, because I'm not going to spend the money on gingerbread cheese now that I caught the last special mouse. So a couple days in the Harbour, and then back to the Comet armed with Brie for cash accumulation.
