I'm a huge fan of the books, but the movie looks like crap.

If I hear it's good, I may go see it. Otherwise, I'll wait for DVD. I think I'm part of a huge chunk of people thinking the same thing.
Teens/Women are going to make it hit over $30M opening weekend. If the reviews are generally good it will pull in the rest of the book's fans - like me, mary and Hotkiss (maybe).
