Favourite and NSFW use the same system, and it could be easily extended to allow full tagging.

I haven't done that yet, because it would require front-end interface work to make it behave in a way that people would find usable.

And "Favourite" was implemented not only as a "save for later" feature, but as a way of gauging the interestingness of posted links.
