You saw the part where Emma tells him she's quitting, right?

well, Mr Shuster (how do you spell that?) goes to the choir room, the kids are all there, looking serious, and say they have something to tell him - then they unveil the winning trophy. He's so happy for them. Then they plunk him in a chair and tell him they prepared a number just for him. So they are doing they number (which was We Belong Together) and he starts thinking of Emma.

Then he goes to her office, it's empty. he's in the hallway, she's at the far end, he runs down the hall, stops her and kisses her.
