my 93 year old Grandmother - only one of them I knew (for Grandparents I mean ) and I was born on her 70th B-Day - she died just 5 days short of her 94th and my 24th birthdays. She was really special to me ... it was pretty hard - I had lived with her until she had to go into the nursing home ... and she hated it there - fell and broke her hip and didn't recover. Sucked really bad. Spent the whole night with a friend at college just talking about her and crying - felt guilty - but you get through it and just remember the good stuff eventually. Hope you have a gentle time of it - and can remember good stuff! Sorry for you and family that it's at the holidays ...
