...and that the military guys want to shoot/ bomb/ destroy is no surprise: it's their dang job, after all.
I really appreciated this film overall -- I was stuck in Hawaii when it happened -- without current news, and absolutely zero way to get off the now-vacant (all military = disappeared) island.
Totally scary time.
