No. In fact I'll go so far as to say that any communication over a device provided by an employer is that employer's business.

If you want to use email and have it be private, provide your own access through your own phone with its own data plan.
If your phone is provided and paid for by your employer, the employer gets to set the rules for its use.

Are you talking USPS mail or electronic mail? Because the USPS is governed by rules that protect the privacy of the mail
