I would say yes. We are losing people faster than we are gaining them. The community is (slowly) shrinking.

We've always had people drift away (or flame out beautifully) before, but we had an organic replacement model (the movies board). We have no real 'birth rate' to speak of now, which will lead to long-term extinction if nothing changes.
