Took him to the vet on Saturday - he has infected paws (both bacteria and yeast present). He is now on antibiotics for a month (most likely longer), antifungal meds and an antihistamine, in case it is allergy-related.

Finally started going to the bathroom outside last night, which was nice.

After 3 nights of very sleep for both of us due to the barking in the crate for hours on end, we let him sleep with us last night and he was quite comfortable. He was certainly more comfy than we were!

He looks like he's making himself at home and he is a sweet boy.
