Because I told him ST was my own little niche, much like he his own portals of the Internet elsewhere, and to please let me be on here.

He said yes and claimed that the time I saw him lurking was his first and only time because he was curious why I'm so infatuated with you guys.

Then there's all the Chicago/NYC and tennis stuff...

The cherry on top is that I'm pretty sure this post from yesterday is about me:

If you receive a "notice of graduation" from someone, does that mean you need to send money or a gift to congratulate?

My friend gave this card with an impersonal note and kept stressing that despite being for me, I should "share it with your parents"... I kept thinking it was odd until I realized that people usually send money or something to congratulate...and then I felt a bit dismayed by it all...i mean if you're going to politely request money shouldn't you at least cough up what it takes for postage and send it through the mail so that it gets to the people you intend for it to go to? i mean if you want my parents' money, don't make me do your dirty work. and seriously, who asks for money? they will send it of their own volition if they are so inclined. this makes me want to totally not send anything
