Went and saw the Xanadu musical this evening and quite liked it

Yeah, yeah...I'm at least pop culture gay
Though being a fan of the movie, the musical is on the inspired by the movie rather than being an adaptation.
A much bigger emphasis is placed on the time being 1980 and given that the movie was surreal at times, the musical can be forgiven for completely indulging in being over the top as well as being insane (redo the theater in only an afternoon now?)
Still quite the good time and recommended
