At 3am the water pump for the hot-water-baseboard heat decides to make loud, scary noises. I shut down the offending pump (for the 2nd floor) and thought leaving the other pump on would keep the heat going. Alas, temp is still dropping (60F now after 4 hours) even though I hear the heat going and the furnace burners are lit.
