MouseHunt question: how come others (ST-ers) are sounding the Hunting Horn, yet I'm catching mice?

I keep clicking on the horn, but then it says someone else already did. Sometimes I catch a mouse when someone else sounded the horn. I'm not in a hunting party or anything...
