do I accept auto-racing is more machine than man...of course but do the humans control the outcome through phsyical means...sure. It's a sport.

But if i'm comparing sportsmen, I'm going to pick apart their accomplishments and auto-racing's accomplishments are earned just as much on the backs of the engine builders and engineers as on Jimmie Johnson and Michael Schumacher's talents.
