Tetnus 6 or 7 years ago after stepping on the literal rusty nail in the garden, strangely the doc said it was a good thing I was barefoot....

because if I wore tennis shoes what often happens is a tiny piece of the rubber gets dragged in and left behind and the body hates rubber and sets up an immune reaction or lifetime alergies to it
